About Us
Established in 1955, the Sound Beach Community Band is a non-profit Fire Department Band based in Old Greenwich, CT. Under the directorship of Zachary Kampler, we perform a variety of classical, Broadway, and contemporary works for our audiences. We are dedicated to providing free concerts for everyone to enjoy and we also proudly participate in parades and official ceremonies.
Our band consists of musicians from all walks of life, from seasoned professionals, to passionate amateurs, to young learners and everything in-between. We are united in our passion for music, and in our commitment to create memorable performances that resonate with our audience. Whether it's a heartfelt symphony or an upbeat show tune, we put our heart and soul into every note we play.
