2026 CALL FOR CONCERT BAND

MUSICIANS IN GREENWICH/STAMFORD, CT ancd WESTCHESTER, NY

The Sound Beach Community Band would like to invite oncert band musicians to join the band for our upcoming 2026 performances.

Established in 1955, the SBCB is a true community band in Greenwich, CT. Membership is open to band instrumentalists ranging from talented, middle-school level students (by audition) up through active or retired professional musicians.

Weekly rehearsals are held in Greenwich from June 9th through August 25th. The band is under the musical directorship of Zachary Kampler.

The SBCB has many upcoming events, including a USA 250th Anniversary concert on June 28th at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park; a pre-fireworks concert in Binney Park on July 2nd; an Independence Day Ceremony at Greenwich Town Hall on July 4th; concerts under the stars at Binney Park on July 26th and August 30th; a 9/11 Memorial Ceremony on September 11th at Cos Cob Park; and a First Light performance in Old Greenwich on December 5th.

The SBCB is a fun and relaxed environment in which to meet new people and keep your musical skills sharp.
